Nikon N2020
The N2020 (known as the F501 outside the US) was Nikon's first widely accessible autofocus SLR when it landed in 1986 — a proper F-mount body with a built-in motor drive, program AE, aperture priority, and manual exposure all in one package. It shoots up to 2.5 fps, reads DX coding, and takes any AF Nikkor lens. The 50mm f/1.8 is the right lens to have on it — fast, sharp, light, and versatile enough to do almost anything.
This is a capable everyday shooter. Program modes include standard, P HI, and P DUAL for different shooting conditions, plus aperture priority and full manual with match-LED metering in the viewfinder. Auto film loading and advance, hot shoe for dedicated TTL flash, and ±2 EV exposure compensation round out the feature set.
